  • Robert Schuerger

    Mr. Schuerger received his B.A. from Ohio State University and his law degree from Capital University. He served as an aide in the Ohio State Legislature before he founded the Law Offices of Robert A. Schuerger Co., LPA. He is very active in international issues, being the Co-Chairman of the Inaugural Ohio-China-US Business Summit. He was a past member of the US-Qatar Business Council and Corporate Council on Africa.
  • Jon Stainbrook

    Mr. Stainbrook is a public relations consultant, an elected State Central Committeeman for Senate District 11, and the Chairman of the Lucas County Republican Party. He received his B.A. in Communications from the University of Toledo and is completing his Masters in Liberal Studies. He also serves as a Board Member on the Lucas County Board of Elections and is the former Director of Public Relations for the Lucas County Auditor's office.
  • Terry Patton

    Terry attended Cleveland St. Ignatous High School and John Carroll University. He served in the US Army in Viet Nam as a Fire Directions Controller in the Artillary and was a hand to hand combat instructor during basic training. He boxed in the Army and was an Amateur boxer in Cleveland. Terry is a business man founding Cleveland Business Systems Co; Business Solution Advisors, a local business consulting company and he is the owner and operator of Jerky-n-Spice, which has a retail store in Strongsville and also ships products worldwide via the internet.
  • Dr. Armile

    He received his Bachelor Science degree from Youngstown State University and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is currently a member of the American Osteopathic Association, The Ohio State Medical Association and the Mahoning County Medical Society. He has two sons and a daughter.
  • Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini

    He is the former NABF and WBA World Lightweight Boxing champion (1982 -1984). In 2015 he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He defended his title 4 times and retired from boxing with a career record 29-5 with 23 KO's. A TV Movie entitled "Heart of a Champion: The Ray Mancini story" was televised in 1985. Author Mark Kriegel wrote a book abount Ray, titled "The Good Son". He has always said: "Home is where his heart is" and since moving back to Ohio after an acting career in Hollywood consider Ohio as his home. Since moving back to Ohio Ray and his wife Tina have formed the Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini Foundation, which aids charities that do not receive federal fundind and depend on the support of the community.
  • Judy McCarty

    Executive Secretary for the Ohio Athletic Commission. After graduating from Lordstown High School in there Intensive Office Education program she worked in retail management at the Eastwood Mall, and as a Kitchen Designer at DIY Home Warehouse. Judy is on the Board of Directors for the Kid Pro program with Juvenile Diabetes Association and was the coordinator for the Combined Charitable Campaign for the Athletic Commission.
  • Matt Dolan

    "Is currently serving his first term as an Ohio Senator in the 24th Senate District. The district includes parts of Cuyahoga Countty and Geauga County. As a State Represenative he served as Chairman of the Finance and Appropriations Committee.

    Senator Dolan's is a partner at the law firm of Thrasher, Dinsmore & Dolan. He is a former Chief Assistant Prosecutor for Geauga County and Assistant Attorney General for the state of Ohio.

    He is a graduate of Gilmore Academy, Boston College and Case Wesrern Reserve School of Law. He resides in Chagrin Falls with his wife, son and stepson.
  • Brian Honen

    Brian has been with the Attorney General's Office since 2008 and represents numerous state agencies and commissions throughout Ohio.
  • Rep. Thomas Patton

    Thomas F. Patton is the state representative for the 7th District of the Ohio House of Representatives. He is a Republican. The district consists of Berea, North Olmsted, North Royalton, Olmsted Falls, Strongsville as well as Olmsted Township in Cuyahoga County.


The Ohio Athletic Commission regular scheduled monthly meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Tuesday of each month. All meetings will start at 10:00 AM. These are also listed on the events calendar on this site.  If there is any change in the scheduled time or date of the meeting the change will be posted on the events Calendar on this website.
