Bernie Profato - appointed Executive Director of the Ohio Athletic Commission in September of 2004 replacing Mr. Paul Amadio former director. He served in the United States Marine Corp, retired from the City of Niles Police Department where he served for 32 years. He was in charge of the traffic division and an expert witness in traffic crashes for 28 of those years. He has been a sport’s official at the high school and college level in basketball, baseball and softball for over 30 years and has been a boxing referee for 18 years, refereeing a number of title bouts in that time. Has been inducted in the National and State Softball Halls of Fame as an umpire; the Trumbull County Hall of Fame as an athlete and a sport’s official; and the Curbstone Coaches Hall of Fame, Legends of Leather Hall of Fame and most recently the Ohio State Former Boxers Hall of Fame in boxing.
Gene Weiss - After winning an Ohio wrestling title at Shaker Heights High in 1953, Gene won a gold medal at the 1953 Maccabiah Games in Israel. Gene graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in physical education. For the past 30 years, Gene has been an athletic consultant, trained many professional athletes and has been the owner of the “ Gene Weiss Place for Fitness”, a racquet and fitness club. Gene was inducted into the Ohio Sports Hall of Fame in 1977 and is a former member of the United States Olympic Committee. Gene is currently the Chairman of the Ohio Athletic Commission.
Tom Jelepis - He served in the United States Marine Corps and earned a degree from Cuyahoga Community College and a BA degree from Cleveland State University in Urban Affairs. After 20 years in business and government, he was appointed Manager Director of Public Sector Solutions. Prior to this he was a commercial real estate broker with Colliers Ostendorf-Morris. He served as Mayor of the City of Bay Village, followed by his appointment as Director of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. He has served on the Board of Directors for United Way, the Comprehensive Strategy for Juvenile Justice, and the Mayors and Managers Association of Northeast Ohio.
John Konstantinos - John was appointed to the Ohio Athletic Commission in September 2003. He attended Yorkville High School where he played varsity football , basketball and baseball. He went on to Morris Harvey College and played football for 3 years. He served as assistant football coach at Temple , William and Mary , North Carolina State , three seasons with Lou Holtz at Arkansas. He was head football coach at Eastern Illinois University. He served as assistant Athletic Director at Kent State and in 1990 was appointed as Athletic Director at Cleveland State University.
Dr. Harry Stiggers - After serving in the United States Army, he received a Bachelor Science Degree and Honorary Society from Hiram College and Doctor of Osteopathic Medical Degree from Des Moines, Iowa. He opened Stiggers Medical Clinic a family practice clinic in Cleveland, Ohio in 1959. During his medical profession he’s been a medical staff member at St. Alexis, Brentwood, Richmond Heights and South Pointe hospitals. He is the past president of Brentwood medical staff and the Cleveland Academy of Osteopathic Medicine. He is currently on the board of trustees for Hiram College, the Cleveland Municipal Football Association and Vice President of the National Minority Golf Scholarship Fund of Cleveland, Ohio.
Michael Chase - Michael Chase is Corporate Counsel for ChromaScape Inc. in Twinsburg, OH. He graduated from Ohio State University College of Law, has a Master's Degree in Public Policy from George Washington University in Washington DC, and a Bachelor of Arts from Xavier University in Cincinnati.  He is a former amateur boxer with over 40 bouts.
Judy McCarty - Executive Secretary for the Ohio Athletic Commission. After graduating from Lordstown High School in there Intensive Office Education program she worked in retail management at the Eastwood Mall, and as a Kitchen Designer at DIY Home Warehouse. Judy is on the Board of Directors for the Kid Pro program with Juvenile Diabetes Association and was the coordinator for the Combined Charitable Campaign for the Athletic Commission.
Marilynne Houy - Marilynne is the part time Account Clerk. She has worked for the State Auditor’s Office, Northeast Ohio Adoption Services and H. R Block. She has her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University. She has her Accounting Degree from Westminster College and Masters of Business Administration from Kent State University.
Keith Faber - In January 2007, State Senator Keith Faber was sworn into the Ohio Senate with an appointment to fulfill the unexpired term of Jim Jordan who was elected to Congress. Senator Faber represents the 12th Ohio Senate District, which includes Allen, Champaign, Mercer, Preble, Shelby, and parts of Auglaize and Darke Counties. He was first elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in November 2000 where he served three terms as a Representative from the 77th House District.

Faber obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors in Public Administration/Policy with a minor in Biology from Oakland University in Michigan in 1988, and then obtained a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1991.

He is a member of the Mercer County Republican Party, several different Chambers of Commerce and Farm Bureaus, Celina Moose Lodge, Celina Eagles Lodge, Mercer County and Ohio Right to Life, National Rifle Association, Mercer County Sportsman, Lima Sabres, and also saw two terms on the Mercer/Auglaize YMCA Board of Directors
John Patterson - The Assistant Attorney general representing the Ohio Athletic Commission. He graduated from Capital University College of Law and has a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio Dominican University.
